The Story Behind Tin Top
Tin Top was created to tell the stories that are too often overlooked. The stories of ranchers fighting to hold onto their land. Veterans searching for purpose after service. Families navigating hardship, loss, and redemption. Rural communities facing challenges that rarely make national headlines.
Rather than creating a version of the West that exists only in Hollywood, we set out to create something authentic. The people, places, struggles, and victories portrayed in Tin Top are inspired by real experiences and real communities across rural America.
Our Filmmaking Philosophy
We believe great stories come from truth.
That's why we approach filmmaking differently. We prioritize authenticity over perfection. Real locations over sound stages. Real horsemen, ranchers, and working people over polished stereotypes. We want our audience to feel like they're standing in the pasture, sitting at the kitchen table, or riding down a ranch road alongside the characters.
